  • Looking at the service menu may be a little bit overwhelming! Here are a few tips Katie has for you when choosing your service!

    Do you want to relax?

The table is warmed with a biomat- which is a far infared mat filled with 18 lbs of amethyst and tourmaline. When heated they give off negative ions as well which is the same thing that is in the air when there is a thunderstorm, or when you are near water. This helps take you out of fight or flight and into parasympathetic state- so you can have deeper relaxation no matter what service you choose.

If you are looking for a traditional massage experience choose the Therapeutic massage option, We can customize this massage to your needs that day with your preference of pressure.

Are you looking for Deep Tissue? Katie has over 100 continuing education hours in Barefoot Massage. With this style of massage she actually uses her feet to apply broad firm pressure to the body. 3x more pressure without the pokey elbows and thumbs.

  • Hey Cubs! I know if you're new to massage, it can be a little anxiety filled. What do I do? How do I prepare? I hope this helps you feel a bit more at ease for your first appointment with me.

Stay hydrated: Water is always important for the function of our bodies, but during a massage fluids are moved As the therapist kneads and works the connective tissue and your muscles, fluid gets pumped out of the soft tissue. It flows through the circulatory system and heads towards the kidneys. This is the reason why clients typically have the urge to urinate right after a massage. The water lost needs to be replaced, so make sure you're drinking that water!

No caffeine: If you're putting that hot bean water down your throat right before your massage, it's one more thing for us to combat to get your nervous system to relax.

Arrive a few minutes early, Just a few.. Rushing around before your massage may raise your blood pressure, help your body get into a zen state by scheduling your massage at a time where you do not need to rush before or afterwards.

  • Stay comfortable. I often have first time massage clients who are worried about what to wear. This is up to you to decide. Some people fully undress, some leave their underwear on. Either way, you will be properly draped. Katie won't see anything she shouldn't!
